the finishing line

I'd like to do something in this life which was worth to be remembered.
I mean, I don't want to reinvent the wheel or to be the Cervantes Prize winner,
I only want to do something to improve our society, so I thought what wonderful it would be to teach languages to African children..
Nowadays, children in rich countries aren't grateful for everything they have, however in developing nations children pay you with their smiles every day.
What a pity not to know to appreciate some things until we lose them!

Our society is based on the productivity and if you don't produce anything you are nobody,so everything around us is created in order to think that life is a competition and only the best ones triumph, we suppose that the rest of people live in the mediocrity; therefore, why not to be the best?..

Our life is really based on the pursuit of happiness, which isn't a competition because if everybody arrives to the finishing line, everybody wins.
